Downtown Main Stage (Laurel Street Park)
Blessed with a rafter-reaching soprano ranged voice that emanates grit and fire, Toree McGee describes her music as a blend of “Woodstock rock ‘n’ roll, and sparkly country.” This eclectic style is equal parts percussion-driven swagger and playful melodies. Behind the northern California native’s powerful, edgy vocals is a candid, bubbly personality, along with a natural, effervescent stage personality inherited from a family filled with performers. McGee opened for country music superstar, Clay Walker in San Jose, followed by another opening slot for rising stars, A Thousand Horses, and Drake White. Her full EP was officially released in October 2015.
Now in it’s twentieth phenomenal year, Caravanserai has established itself as the most widely known Santana Tribute band in the country. This is the group the San Jose Metro declared “The Top Santana Tribute” and the San Francisco Examiner called “The Country’s Pre-eminent Santana Tribute Band” and radio DJ Wayne Coy declared “The Greatest Santana Tribute in the World” on the air at KKIQ 101.7 in the Bay Area. Originally a replication of Rock and Roll Hall of Fame band Santana’s legendary early days, Caravanserai has grown to include material from all eras of Santana’s 47-year history. Painstaking care has been taken in the recreation of early and new music performed by this band of journeymen from the San Francisco Bay Area. The Caravanserai show explosively recreates the rhythms, drive and the atmosphere of sounds that have made Santana a mainstay in the history Rock Music for the past five decades!

The RiP-TiDEs! are a vintage, 60s-style, rock’n’roll band comprised of five guys and a gal — Tim (Bass & Vocals), Tim aka “JT” (Drums), Geoff (Lead Guitar), Jeff (Vocals & Percussion), Sheila (Keyboards and Vocals), and Chris (Rhythm Guitar). The name, the RiP-TiDES!, was chosen to best represent the essence of the group -a retro 60s, frat-party band. The band performs a variety of 60s classics, early Beatles, classic Beach Boys and related vocals, surf and lounge instrumentals, and some unique tunes that seem to fit in very nicely. The hallmarks of the band are playing the music as close to the original songs as possible, and featuring amazing three- and four-part harmonies. Sheila is a more recent addition, and she opens up a whole new range of opportunities for the band (Dusty Springfield or Nancy Sinatra tunes, anyone?). Chris, our latest addition, brings his considerable guitar-playing talents to the band to really fill out our sound. For a real rockin’ good time, please check out the RiP-TiDES!
(Jumpin’ Rhythm & Boogie)
Little David Rose’s thumpin’ stand-up bass, the double-shuffle drumming of Lee Beary, and the bounce piano of William Beatty provide the rhythmic foundation of the band’s jump style. Riffing on top is the trumpet sound of Robert Dehlinger and Keith Crossan on the saxophone. These two fellas create the fireworks of vintage rhythm and blues. The charming Hank Maninger on vocals and lead guitar has become a trademark of Stompy Jones.
